AMAZING experience - well worth the drive from Chicago for the best care at a great price! I found COVE on my own after my dog was diagnosed with a liver mass on ultrasound at a veterinary urgent care. I recently brought my dog Chase in for a CT scan. From my initial phone call, I was very impressed. They were able to give me the price and an overview of the whole procedure. Once I scheduled the appointment, I got an email with very clear instructions so I knew what to expect and how to prepare for the appointment. We visited COVE twice, for a CT Scan on Luna and an ultrasound for Moxy (both dogs) within a week of each other. Erika met with us both times to walk us through everything and performed the ultrasound. It was a scary and sad time for us, but Erika made us feel as comfortable as possible and clearly cared for our girls even though they'd just met. They also sent us thorough interpretations quickly so we could move forward with next steps with our vet. We highly recommend COVE.
I was not impressed. I brought my cat in for an ultrasound. There was only one tech in the room, and she nicked Luna's belly 3 times shaving her. The tech said the nicks look worse than they actually are. I was not amused. We were interrupted twice by 2 different people, one who actually walked thru the room, and then some guy came in, which stressed Luna even more. I finally looked at the tech, and I said, "Really?" I took my dog in for an ultrasound of his heart after an emergency pericardiocentesis at an emergency vet. Everyone was so friendly and caring. They listened to his history and were very careful getting him set up for the procedure. They knew how concerned I was and even gave me a hug when I got a little teary. I highly recommend them.
