First of all they went out of their way to rescue me from a bad hotel down the street. So I’m grateful for that. The hotel is on the north part of the boardwalk which has a nicer vibe than the south. And this hotel is what you would expect for a beach hotel. Nice pool for the kids. Easy beach access. And I think all the rooms have views of the ocean with the sun rising right into the balcony and window. Room is nicely apportioned. I've stayed here before and its the same. Clean rooms,good service, great location
I wanna say overall the hotel was not good and I will not return.. the ac barely cooled the room down.. I took a portable ac unit so I could sleep. the sliding door to the balcony took lots of muscle to slide it open. The shower hooks in the bathroom were broken and spun freely… the couch was like sitting on plywood.. very uncomfortable!! I asked the front lobby if they had a more comfortable couch they said no.. meanwhile the front lobby couches were very comfortable… only 2 elevators so waiting for elevators took awhile ea... read more
It’s a good 45 minute walk from the downtown area, but that means the beach is far less crowded. The food and drink pricing was OUTRAGEOUS. Their breakfast buffet costs $20 a person and the food is beyond mid, it was the same stuff you’d find a free country inn breakfast (and also raw salmon that was buzzing with flies so I didn’t touch) A barely palatable cocktail is $18 and a cup of drip coffee was almost $7.
