Room was cleaned. Staff was kind - especially the bistro staff (even more so - morning staff). Breakfast was good. Parking is the most confusing due to 2nd level parking access from Franklin Street And 1st level parking is on W Fayette. I feel the parking lots could use better monitoring as it was difficult to find a spot I had paid for on Saturday night. This was the most uncomfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in. I had to post so others who need a good night of sleep before a long day don’t have the same experience. Felt like I was sleeping directly on springs with lumpy cheap pillows. I’d expect that from a $40 motel, not a business with the Marriott name on it!
Amazing location in downtown Syracuse close to shopping and restaurants. Five minutes from SU. Comfortable beds and nice sized room. Covered parking is helpful in Syracuse winters. Staff was friendly. Room needs updating and repairs. Shower is abysmal with terrible pressure. NO daily maid service. NO inroom safe. $20/day to park and overpriced mediocre breakfast even though most surrounding hotels 5-10 minutes away have free parking and breakfast.
