Was not warned of construction. Pool closed. Eating area closed. They actually had NO keys so the desk clerk had to walk us to our rooms and let us in….then I guess we were just stuck in our rooms the rest of the stay as we couldn’t get back in. And then…no employees at the breakfast/coffee bar in the morning and no coffee out so we had to stop elsewhere for coffee. Overall, poorly run hotel and a bad stay.

Maybe one of the worst hotels ive ever been to.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience so that other travelers can make an informed decision before booking this hotel. My family and I traveled to Coatesville, Pennsylvania, from out of. state to attend a loved one’s funeral. During an already difficult time, our stay at the Courtyard by Marriott added unnecessary stress and disappointment. I was disappointed. There was sign stating renovations please excuse the appearance and/or noise. I understood that but I did not expect to hear LOUD drilling at 7:40AM on a Saturday morning! It sound like it was coming through the wall. I would hope they put their guest on one side while renovating the other from now on. I did tell the front desk who said we are sorry. When people are asleep they do NOT want to be awaken early with loud drilling.
