We highly recommend booking the Courtyard by Marriott Shelton for your wedding block. We held our wedding in CT but 95% of our guests traveled from NYC/PA. I initially worked with Chelsea who was extremely helpful and responsive during the planning stages. The block was easy for the guests to access and book online. Nice Hotel and has a operational swimming pool. Water in shower's some rust in the pipes. Older Hotel. Near several great restaurants
This is a typical Courtyard. It is a limited service hotel. The staff are friendly. The housekeepers are great. It seems the management was recently fired. Everyone is new. The bar is closed. There are a couple of restaurants a short walk in the shopping centers across the street.
Newer hotel, with a strong scent as you walked in. Not bad - just overall hotel air diffuser. Room was decent and there's plenty of restaurants nearby, only downside is needing to drive to them versus walking distance.
