I heard this loud banging noise. Woke me up from a sound sleep at midnight. Sounded like something between a gun shot and a dumpster lid closing. Tried to report it to the front desk. The phone in my room was disconnected. Tried to call through the main number for the hotel. Said they couldn’t take my call. Went physically to the front desk, in my pajamas (!) and was told by the female at the front desk if I couldn’t tell them where the noise was coming from, she couldn’t help me.
