I want to give a huge thank you to Chris at the Courtyard by Marriott in Waco. I arrived after booking through Booking.com only to find out my reservation wasn't showing in the hotel's system, even though I had already paid extra. That could have turned into a very stressful experience, but Chris handled everything with professionalism, patience, and genuine kindness. Nice hotel in a convenient location. Close to downtown and the river/walking bridge. It got a little loud on our side of the building due to teenagers and others street racing along the river. Seemed safe enough to walk around the area in early evening. I think the local police should put a stop to the loud cars and racing though. Breakfast seemed pricey for what it was, at $15/person (very basic).
Best place to stay, Alex was awesome for check in and where to eat, beautiful hotel, location perfect, great pool. Be sure and walk the sculpture zoo path
