Nice place to stay and close to shopping.
I had plumbing issues and had to get a room. I accidentally booked at the wrong hotel. I'm so glad that happened. Immediately when I entered the lobby I was greeted with a smile and warm greeting by Ryan. He is very sincere, knowledgeable and goes out of his way to make others feel heard. I'm lucky that he was also there to check me out as well. If you stay at the Courtyard by Marriott in El Cajon you will just love Ryan's service!
Staff was great and attentive while i stayed here for two nights for work. Rooms are standard Marriott rooms and if you have stayed in a Marriott Hotel before you know what you are going to get. Parking is a good secure lot and purchasing a parking pass is need for each day staying. Plenty of restaurants around to visit while in town. There are the normal as well as unique retail shops withing a short walk/ drive of the hotel. There is easy access to get on to the interstate to go to/ from this location. Great pool, hot tub and fitness center. Good place for Happy Hour.
I stayed here one night for business in early December. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted and given an explanation about the hotel. My room wasn't quite ready yet, as I arrived early. I went out for lunch and to see some planes taking off at the nearby airport. Upon return, I was promptly checked in, thanked for my status and headed off to my room.
