I really tried to like it here. The renovations are nice. My issue was the bed was missing a boxspring. I was literally a few inches from the floor. The mattress was so soft, my back is killing me. I asked for a boxspring but they are sold out and unable to provide that for me. I tried repeatedly to get onto the WiFi but was not able to and talked to their IT staff who was unable unless I provided my IP address and device number. I normally trust Marriott but I think my relationship with them will be severed after this stay.
Overall the interior of the property is very well maintained. The lobby, hallways and room was clean and nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. The entrance is pretty rough. It's a small driveway and not well marked. It's easy to miss on a busy road like 17. Getting out of the lot also was a bit of a maze. Getting out of my car I was greeted by used condom wrappers in a parking spot in front of the entrance. That made me nervous. The internet TV only worked for one of the two nights I was there, so that was disappointing.
Really bad, they told me $170.00 for the room, 1 night, I get charged 216.64. They said they will give me the difference later in my card. Never did it. I came back to the hotel, now they gave me different price. No even breakfast included after paying 216.64 for 1 room, 1 night, very disappointed. I do NOT recommend this hotel Extremely expensive, not worthy. They are plenty of better choices.
Arrived early on Friday, July 10th and the young lady working front desk was dealing with a 'Karen' that just wouldn't stop badgering her with questions and requests. She deftly and calmly handled every one of them without giving off any air of annoyance or impatience - just a very professional demeanor (which actually took my mind off my own wait).
