Worst front desk and management service I’ve ever seen. They Cancelled my reservation and charged my CC and denied us to be able to check in. I love Marriott properties but this one is a disgrace.

I've been a loyal guest at this property for years, largely because of the stunning oceanfront views — they truly don't disappoint. However, my most recent stay (March 31–April 2, Room 2107) ended on a deeply disappointing note that I feel compelled to share. Shortly after checkout, I realized I had accidentally left clothing items in the closet — a Johnny O shirt and a pair of pants. I would not stay here again. Between the $280 nightly rate, the $20 parking fee, and the small beds, the value does not match the Marriott brand quality in my opinion Pros: • The View: All rooms are oceanfront, which is a major plus. • The Pool: The pool area is great, but be aware you share it with three other lower-tier hotels nearby. • Location: The location itself is fantastic. Stopped by a resort bar in Myrtle Beach while attending a conference, and this place completely caught me off guard—in the best way. My girlfriend and I ordered a couple of Old Fashioneds, expecting the usual. When the bartender casually asked if we wanted them *smoked*, I had to do a double take. That little twist elevated the whole experience from “just another drink” to something genuinely memorable. Courtyard - Room 306 This was a mother/daughter trip with my 87 year old mother. She uses a walker and was able to easily get around the hotel and the room. We arrived at the hotel early and we were just sitting in the lobby until check-in time. The bellman, Will, came over to greet us and to see if we needed anything. I cannot say enough about how caring and accommodating he was! He took all of our things over to a booth area that was more comfortable for my mother.
