I expected much better from Marriott. Marriott has built a reputation around quality, consistency, and customer service, which is why this stay at courtyard was such a disappointment. It seems like Marriott is just slapping their name on anything now a days without caring about the quality. The most frustrating issue was the complete lack of housekeeping service. Housekeeping review - we never received housekeeping over our 4 night stay. We specifically asked twice (knowing we’d be gone), was told someone would come by, and no one came. You can beg for towels and toilet paper at the front desk (and get a stink eye from Brenda at the front desk in the process), but we only had 1 in room coffee, 1 hot liquid cup for our entire stay. Upon walking in the Resort it smelled very clean. The young man at check-in was polite, nice and informative. Our floor was clean getting off the elevator. Entering the room: Smelled great. Everything was tidy. The drains in the bathroom were slow and there was a lot of hair in the bathtub drain. The balcony was small enough for 2 people. There was a lot of paint chipping above the curtain. Since it's a kid/dog friendly place, that should of been seen and addressed. Myself and my children stayed here for what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation. During this stay the maintenance staff screamed at my children and told them they needed to find another hotel to stay at. After talking it through with corporate and the front desk they agreed that this was unacceptable and agreed to make it right by refunded the stay and we went to another hotel to stay elsewhere. To this day I have still not been refunded and charged for the entire stay despite leaving early. This is absolutely unacceptabl... read more
Great room and view! Suite had a large balcony with plenty of seating. Hotel is very well maintained and beautiful inside. Front desk was very helpful. Only complaint is that the pool closes at 10pm which was a bit disappointing for a Saturday night.
