Target is next door which is always nice when having to grab something quick with kids. Stayed on the second floor and had no problems with our room. Pool was a hit with the kids. Can order Starbucks and food from their cafe area. Staff were a little weird at the cafe. Was waiting for food and told we couldn’t sit unless we ordered food.. Another friend staying had problems with her room (1st floor), floor was soaked and was given no accommodations.
I only briefly visited the Courtyard for a jewelry roadshow, but staff was very friendly & helpful. The lobby is beautiful & clean, as well as the conference room the roadshow was held in.
Finding a decent place to stay during High Point Market is always a challenge. We usually stay at the Sheraton Four Seasons, which isn't exactly wonderful, but I've learned to manage my expectations during market week. This time, my coworker and I decided to try the Marriott, mostly because it's close to the Starbucks we like. **Big mistake.
