Breakfast was great. Plenty of options.
This is a very old hotel. The staff here was awesome (shout out to Jay on the night shift) but the rooms need work. Room 220 had rust in the bathroom area and tub so bad, baseboard in the bathroom need cleaning. The lamp shade between the beds dusty and hanging broke, lighting is dull, TV is small and old, couch had so many stains that I didn't want sit in it. Furniture all chipped up. Service and employees were nice but the hotel is in dire need of a touch up. The bathrooms and rooms themselves were a little run down compared to what you'd expect from a Marriott hotel.
Merriott has terrible cooperate customer service
I had one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a Marriott property. Susan at the front desk assigned me a room that had clearly not been cleaned. The sheets were filthy and the entire room had a terrible odor. When I went back to the front desk to report the issue, she initially reacted as if I was exaggerating or mistaken. I even had to ask her, “Would you like to come see the room yourself?” before she acknowledged the problem.
