The beds are your typical hotel lumps of fun, complete with sacks of concrete they call pillows. The bathroom could use a refresher in regard to grout, and maybe the hotel could provide lotion in their toiletries. The staff make up for these little things with their friendly and helpful attitudes. The pool could use a cleaning and the hot tub jets are in need of a tune-up, but I still enjoyed them both, the weather was prefect. I also appreciated having a cafe and bar onsite. I would come back.
I had a great stay here while visiting family in the area. The hotel was extremely clean and well maintained, which made the stay very comfortable. The room and common areas were spotless and everything felt well taken care of. The location was also perfect. It’s close to a lot of great shopping and restaurants, and it’s a convenient distance from the beach as well, which made getting around really easy. I recently stayed at this location for a medical procedure. We chose this hotel because the Dr performing my procedure said that we would get the medical rate for our stay. When I booked online there was no option for medical rate. I thought I would have it changed when we arrived. The hotel refused to give us the medical rate saying there were no more rooms available at that rate. DO NOT stay at this hotel if you are having a medical procedure done in the Charleston area!
Nice, clean, friendly staff. The room is a little dated. We loved the balcony overlooking the pool.
