The location is great. We have stayed here numerous timea in the last 3 years.the staff is wonderful. Hannah at the front desk is the best. As platinum members they always do their best to upgrade us. Because we like to earn our points...highly recommend the breakfast sandwich. Benny made us a great one...fresh brioche bun, arugula, little lemon dressing, and crispy bacon..yum. only negative is the rooms are looking a little worn. See you all again soon!
The location is great as it is near the college and in downtown Boone. This location does limit their parking to a smaller lot. The price was crazy high the weekend I stayed as kids were going back to school. The cleaning service is shameful. On more than one occasion the cleaning crew was sitting in the hallways chatting. Our room was never cleaned in our 3 night stay. We had new towels left in the bathroom but nothing else was touched/cleaned.
solid stay! good location and cleanliness of rooms, as well as comfortable beds/pillows. the bistro was good for dinner but unfortunately the breakfast did take a little long (we were in a rush so that may be on us as well). welcoming and friendly. the pool was alright and the gym had some weights and cardio machines (open 24 hours appreciated)
