We had a wonderful experience with Courteous K9! We attended both Puppy 1 and Puppy 2 classes with Jess, and the results have been amazing. Our puppy is now well-mannered, responsive, and a joy to be around. What's especially impressive is that my parents have our dog's littermate, and it's easy to see the difference the training has made. The skills and good behavior we learned in class are clearly evident in our puppy's everyday interactions. Update: As I have previously mentioned, I am a pet professional in the area. Since my last review, I have had 3 dogs clients that were supposedly trained by Courteous K9 and the 3 dogs are far from trained. In fact, the 2 oldest ones have terrible anxiety. These two were trained with e-collars. There are significant problems with leash walking that I’m trying to correct so I can do my job. Our new puppy went through the Foundations 1 class and it was great. She is very high energy and pretty stubborn but she is doing great and much easier to handle now that we went through this course.

Training high energy dog's like a German Shorthair Pointer is no easy task. We found Courteous K9 after a poor experience with another company. We are extremely happy with the progress we've made with our favorite Linus. The trainers are knowledgeable across a broad spectrum of dogs. They are extremely personable and want to ensure you as the handler leave with the skills to make your dog great.
