I recently toured the community with Whitney Varnadore and was very impressed with the entire experience. Staff introduced themselves, it smelled nice, and the residents were well taken care of and enjoying an activity. Whitney is a trusted resource for all things seniors and gives her all to helping families through the transition. If you are looking for a memory care of a loved one, you won’t regret reaching out.
This is a very nice facility. The staff is excellent. Tameka and her assistant do a wonderful job! Tanya, Nikki, and sister as well. Rianna is wonderful and Cyntina Jackson as well.
UPDATE: 2024 After moving my mother out of Brookdale, the difference is night & day. Her new home is SUCH AN IMPROVEMENT over Brookdale! And it costs less too! I have visited many Memory Care units by this time & while Brookdale looked good to us early on, we see now how much better things can be. Sorry to say but my LO has been here for over 1 yr and we have gotten 2 price increase notices! New AD is no where to be found and he has never introduced himself. Short staffed so no cooks to fix meals! Staff is caring but stretched thin! All they promised and we have never seen any of it. Communication is non existing from AD when a problem arises. COVID outbreak every week! And we have to find out about it when we visit, not beforehand!
Great place, wonderful staff and very compassionate towards the residence. Whitney the admissions coordinator goes over and beyond her admissions duties, we are so glad that we made BrookDale at Southpark my father’s new home.
