Need better aides the ones that work at this facility are lazy and don’t care about their patients. They take sometimes an hour to respond to a patient’s call.
We need to advocate for better health care aides to care for our loved ones. Right now, some aides take 30 minutes to an hour to respond when called. When they finally arrive, they often say they need another set of hands, adding another 10 to 20 minutes of waiting. This is unacceptable—especially if a family member is having an emergency or urgently needs the bathroom. Those who ignore call lights or fail to provide immediate assistance should be replaced with dedicated, compassionate aides who take patient care seriously.
Patient care is OK to good. They discharge grossly prematurely. They arbitrarily order very expensive equipment and then put a pen in a stroke patient's non-dominant hand to sign for payment if insurance doesn't without any family or POA present even though the patient has no idea what they're signing. Also, nurse facilitator O'Dell will become involved even though she knows the patient and has a conflict of interest without informing the family she knows the patient and acquaintances of the patient, making us feel violated ... read more
