We have a large dog that has had an ongoing skin issue for almost a year. We have had her treated at another vet numerous times for hundreds of dollars and more medications than I can count. It took 6 moths to clear up and it came back within 2 months. Countryside spent 2 hours with her and she has been on the new medications for 2 days and we are seeing improvement. She feels better and is more active. The open sores are closed and much less red. I am thrilled. YEAH!
I have been taking my dogs to this vet since I moved to the area in 1993. I like and respect everyone who works there. I like the doctor because he's direct and no-nonsense. His care kept my old German Shepherd going for over 15-1/2 years. Her first vet appointment was with him when she was 5 weeks old and the vet was there for her last appointment. Dr. Dibbern and his staff are very professional and caring not only with the pets they treat but with the owners as well. I had a very sick pet, Max, that they treated and he was a challenge. They treated him like he was their own and Max loved them. And as you know, if your pet reacts to their kindness, they are definitely good people. Dr. Dibbern and his staff are wonderful. He's been in business for a long time and knows what he's doing. I have never gone to him and felt like he wants our money. He's recommended science diet and the other food they have for animals - that's his job doesn't make him a bad vet. He's actually a very caring vet. I've had cats for over 20 years and had to put a few down. The last two I took to Dr. Dibbern - his whole staff was there to support me during this very difficult time.
This office has been recently renovated and moved around the corner. They have a state of the art facility, even with a little pet water fountain by the door. My dogs have only been treated with the utmost care and kindness, while I have been treated as a caring parent and with respect. He is a caring vet who really cares about your animal not money. He will not recommend procedures or shots that your animal does not need, he give you lots of time to explain what needs to be done.
Dr. Dibbern doesn't care about his patients or clients – This was when our dog was just a puppy. Dr. Dibbern at Countryside is horrible. He always took it upon himself to add more things to our bill without speaking to us and then proceeded once to not allow us to have our puppy back until we paid. I also had been the first person in the office speaking with him one morning and that afternoon when I picked up the pup he had not clue who I was. Dr. Dibbern is great with cats, he knows how to put them at ease even when they are being difficult. I highly recommend Countryside.
We've been very satisfied bringing our cats to Countryside. The care is always exceptional and the cost is reasonable.
