Sad customer service I called today 09/26/24 to discuss a hot water heater they installed. My wife told me she thought she smelt gas coming from the hot water heater, I came home today and went down to check for myself and yes there is a gas smell present. I called countryside as they were who I trusted to install the hot water heater. In response to your review, the call when received on Thursday, Sept. 26 later afternoon was questioning if you can smell gas, is that something to be concerned about? Our reply was yes, because that is why there is a smell added to it, so that you would be alerted. At that time you led our receptionist to believe you had been smelling it for quite some time and then reiterated that multiple times that you have been smelling gas for months and this was not a new issue. I would leave a zero star if I could. Long story short we have used this company for years and have been satisfied with the service but this time when they were installing a new faucet the plumbers assistant went and turned the water back on and unbeknownst to us also turned on the outside water. This was in the winter so we didn’t notice it running till the next morning when the basement was flooded with 3 inches of water. Looking into our records, the service call you are referring to was in December of 2022, 1 year ago. Our records do show that on Dec. 12, 2022 we were called for a bathroom faucet that had seized up, you were given a quote for a new faucet and on Dec. 30th we returned to install the new faucet, replaced the **trap and supply lines. He also called me prior to this as to apply for payment an which is interest free The two gentlemen employees who came to install were courteous prompt knowledgeable related to heating and cooling. Extremely poor customer service. Paul does not return phone calls especially if there is an issue to discuss. They do not care about their customers or doing the right thing - their only concern is lining their pockets. We were charged for the extra labor needed because the job wasn't done right the first time. I will never do business with them again.

Your contract files were pulled, and the item in question, of shutting off the water to your previous home was not itemized in the signed contract in our files. We did receive your payment and will consider your account as paid in full, removing the 2 hours of labor in question. We appreciate your business, and apologize for the miscommunication.
