Yesterday, went to The Speckled Hen antiques show in Paso Robles CA and bought a grain sack from Poway Countryside Barn $40-. Got home and realized that the sack was inside out...When I turned i right side out, there was permanent ink written the word, "March ?". If I had seen this, I would have never bought this sack, nor would I have ever felt it was worth $40-. I emailed a comment to the Co. when I received my receipt. Oh my where do I start? This place is so packed full of some of the most unique treasures. Big beautiful pieces of furniture, some even hand made by the owner. I have walked around the store for an hour and see things I didn't see before. There are goodies hiding everywhere you look. If you have that "What do I get them" friend as we all do, the ladies who work there are happy to help you put together something memorable. I absolutely LOVE this place! I just visited the Barn again last week looking for a present for a family member and I found so many great options I had a hard time deciding which one I liked the best. It's filled with awesome, unique, rustic stuff that reminds me a lot of the style used by Joanna Gaines on HGTV. The staff and owner are so nice and friendly, too. It's a great place to find a special gift for a loved one or for your own home. I seriously wanted to buy just about everything in there!
