I live in Edgewood Garden Apartments. Dont get me wrong I am glad that they are finally doing something about the appearance of them but they have cut to many corners on doing so. I love the floor plan but the paint on the inside was done poorly and the flooring is horrible. This is suppose to be "family" housing, but the material they used isnt "family". Love it living here, is always nice and clean. Best decision ever to come down to Florida and rented an amazing place.
I am still in a lease. In 1.5 yrs there have been 4 changes of manager. My air conditioner went out and temp was 110 inside apt and it took them nearly two months to fix it. from the problems with the fix my electric bill sky-rocketed and had me jump thru hoops for \$50 back and I had to decline that and take it further so got \$150 back. pool broken for 2 months. waterfalls broken, palm tree is out and has been missing for 2 months and huge piles of dirt from where they pulled it at the swimming pool, sitting covered with t... read more
Actually, I moved there in December 2009 and I have to say....YES, Manager runs a tight ship...and yes...she can be extremely forceful when it comes to things done certain way....but I for one appreciate the fact that there arent any underware drying up on the balconies, that it is pretty quiet, clean, the area looks always nice. READ AND UNDERSTAND the lease agreement and rules. They took the time to make them to keep everyone on board and make it easier for ALL OF US to live here. This is not a awesome place to live, the manager doesnt know how to treat people let alone speack proper English. The place is like a prison, there is signs for everything even if you want to fart. Ask the questions, why has so many people moved out before the their lease ends? Not happy with the manager!
This is an awesome place, I moved in when they just opened and the apartments inside are 'gorgeous' and they have been keeping the place brand new. We though the building was going to be destroy after months but managements have been keeping the place like they just opened yesterday!
Terrible customer service. They do not care. "Missy" is the nastiest and most unhelpful person I have ever come across. Rude, and disrespectful management, and unhelpful "customer service". So many off-putting, and unnecessary bad experiences its a shame were tied into a lease with this horrible company. The last manager was fired for renting apartments to newly released convicts and we have drug dealers living beneath us. yet WE get in trouble for having our dog off the leash - and eviction threats instead of asking us to l... read more

Great apartments. But needs to have a better screening policy for new tenants. Part of the utlilties need to included with rent.
