No Country for Good Food – When I think of good "Country Cooking" certain things come to mind; fresh, wholesome, hearty, friendly, and most importantly GOOD! Unfortunately Country Waffles failed to delivered any of these. The prices averaged about $8 so we were expecting something better than Denny's. We were really anticipating a great breakfast. Awesome breakfast selection, fresh fruit – We asked an elderly woman at the gas station where to go for breakfast and she said she ONLY goes to Country Waffles. We could see why - amazing selection of breakfasts (they'll substitute just about anything, too), with waffles, omelettes, skillets, eggs any way you'd like, waffles of all sorts, fruit, crepes, you-name-it! Grouchy sounding boss but service good – I thought their service was good except for the Supervisor, whom I observed as rude and unkind in her dealings with her waitress and hostess staff.
