Best place to eat in Maggie Valley. We go there every time we're there. They could use some updating, but all of Maggie Valley is like that.
Food was great as well as the service. Definitely worth the money
I was expecting country food not instant mashed potatoes & processed steak like substance. costed me 12 bucks for a tv dinner on a plate . The tea was good tho.
Family style breakfast, all we cared to eat. Those that ate the grits said they were the best they'd had the entire trip. Taters were great, waitress even brought me some "well-done" scrambled eggs. Attentive and sweet waitress. Only complaint 2 of us had was no fried eggs on family style.
As soon as we walked in the people were rude. Most items were not homemade they were store bought and frozen. Mashed potatoes were cold. Chicken so over done that it was not recognizable. Hair in food. Will not eat here ever again.
The staff was rude from the time we walked in the door. Couldn't get our order right. Had to refill our own drinks. Hair was in the mashed potatoes. Veggie soup was nothing more than a can of veg-all that had been heated. The chicken had been fried at least three times and you could have built a brick house with it. Will NEVER eat there for supper again.
Delicious breakfast, family style, and a very friendly staff!
