This community struggled with communications within the activity department. Courtney Troutman canceled me without meeting me against the overwhelming positive feedback of the residents. Hoping to reestablish a relationship with the community. Actually, Tammy Myers, the review right before me, had booked me for biweekly dinner music, and then everything was summarily canceled without the director having met me. My Aunt suffers from tremors and was in need of care after her husband was suddenly hospitalized and put under hospice care. Angela and Country Meadows were there for her and found her an assisted living room. She is settling in beautifully and enjoys the bingo, exercise classes and weekly outings! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming!!

In October 2024, my mom (93) went in to Country Meadows assisted living on Trindle Road. She was reluctant but due to circumstances, could not safely return to her townhouse. She had always protested the idea of moving into a “home”. After being in assisted living for a few months, she sheepishly confided to me that she “should have done it years ago”. The constant activities (including transportation to outings), the staff, etc were great. It never felt like a nursing home but rather a happy community with apartments. My mo... read more
