Have stayed here while traveling through. Last visit elevator issue that got resolved. Room was nice heating until noisy as was door slamming.
I’m writing this review with full honesty. The front desk receptionist was wonderful and helpful and handled everything very professionally and treated me very kindly. Unfortunately I was only in my room for about an hour when I noticed a cockroach in the bed. I immediately panicked and started packing my things to leave I noticed two more in the room. The lady at the check in desk is awesome. Very nice room 100% better than where I was before walking out and coming over here.
It's fine. Clustered with several other hotels just off route 95 in Wilson, NC with a number of fast food chains the rooms are clean and in decent condition. The hotels on the snowbird route get a lot of traffic and on 02-JAN, the day we stayed, there was no room at the inn so during peak times, book ahead. Check out is at noon, which is nice if you're not in a hurry to move on down the road. Staff was polite and helpful. This was only for the night as we were headed up the East Coast after a holiday vacation. I will say the rooms were very clean but very noisy floors. So if you don't like hearing noise above, you ask for the top floor. So nice that they're dog friendly and have tons of area around the hotel for letting them potty and run! However, there is no fenced in area for the dogs. The worst part about this hotel is the breakfast. The coffee was awful as were the eggs, the sausage and even the gravy for the biscuits.
