NEVER AGAIN!!! My wife and I have been staying at this Motel (4323 Hwy 52 Rochester) for 10 years when visiting Mayo. Originally was a wonderful CLEAN place with wonderful friendly staff. Change of ownership in recent years have changed it all!! Staff did not answer phone when calling for reservations, discount was NOT offered for Mayo visitors as it has in the past. Had a 7am appt at Mayo and the staff was Not accommodating for an early shuttle. (The shuttle was one of the reasons that we chose to stay on outskirts of town)... read more

I was staying at the extended stay across the way for 2 weeks and I wanted a pool and hot tub for my stay. I actually came in and asked "hey do you guys have a pool and hot tub"? Fella at the front desk says yes we sure do and this was in mid September. Apparently their entire area has been shut down since June and front desk lied to me to my face. Rooms and beds aren't bad but dont lie to your customer's thinking they are getting something they aren't.

My bed was comfortable & my room was clean, but the common areas were not. Staircase needed vacuuming, many windows need cleaning, Lobby was dark, creating a less welcoming feel. Pool and hot tub were drained. I expected a little better for a Country Inn & Suites.
