Perfect spot to rest on our road trip! My 7yo loved the warm pool.
I stayed in this hotel on RAGBRAI having had a hotel in every overnight town. This was the best hotel of the week. Room was large and nice. Staff was extremely helpful. Location near the University Ave shopping area. My only complaints: My room had no carpet, it was all some sort of plastic/wood composite which I had never had before but wasn't an issue just odd and the location is a bit south of downtown if that's what you're going for. Otherwise if you have a car that won't be an issue.
Started for a baseball tournament in Prospect Meadows. There are closer options for that but this location would be great for the airport. Hotel could definitely use some updates but it was fine. I know other guests the same weekend had some issues with leaking in the windows (very bad storm came through) but our room was fine. Nothing fancy but clean & comfortable.
