We had always enjoyed Country Inn and Suites so we booked this one. When we arrived we were rather surprised to discover it was no longer a Country Inn and Suites, but a Wingate by Wyndam. You can still see the old Country Inn and Suites signage they've covered up. We were never contacted or informed of the changed. I'd like to state up front that I had no issues with the staff. Overall Great experience for the cost!!
The booking agent that I spoke to told me we could bring our small dog, when arriving at the hotel the people working wanted to argue and tell me no dogs were allowed,l told them to refund everything and we will go somewhere else they were quick to change their attitude
So… stayed here because of price, but I want to be clear that the staff here was wonderful. No issues with them. The motel is an older building that’s not aged well. Lots of cleanliness issues from entryway to hallways, stairs and carpets need deep cleaning or replacing. Our assigned room had a broken card reader, we were moved to an alternate room. It was fine, bathroom was a little ragged, and had some moisture issues. The bed was fine and we slept well. Carpets had cig burns and deep stains. Curtains need to be replaced!!... read more
Only negative I saw was the hallway & carpets in the room were filthy. Could really use a good cleaning or new ones..
