I checked in on September 13 and was greeted by the receptionist. After processing my payment and deposit, she told me that if there was anything wrong with the room, I would be refunded since the hotel was sold out and could not offer an alternative. When I asked if that was a warning or foreshadowing, she replied, “both.” That alone was concerning. When I entered the room (420) and inspected it, I was shocked. Would definitely NOT recommend this hotel. Room was very gross. Very strong musy odor, smelt like a flooded basement. There was mold in the bathroom and in the dresser drawers. Random stains all over the room on the walls, carpet, window shades and fixtures. We were also told we could only have 4 people in the room that we booked with 3 beds, despite it being listed for 5 people on their website.
It was a decent hotel, it was nice gym, pool and atmosphere around it.
Booked the room for family vacation and birthday, worst hotel I’ve been in. Charged an additional 20 a night for tourist fee (never heard of such, been to Florida a thousand times without that). Rooms were dirty, dead bugs, hair dryer bag had an adult diaper in it, light fixture was off, key cards would barley work to the room on and off several times throughout the day and night. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone !
