I use Country Inn and Suites on a normal basis because most of the time I have good experiences. This particular hotel does not live up to the name. There are railroad tracks maybe 30 yards behind the hotel and even though the hotel was basically empty, they placed me on the bottom floor facing the tracks. I counted 6 passings of the train while present, both late at night and early morning. To make things worse, the bathroom had a strong odor of sewer and I had to keep that door closed to cut it off. Random place for a hotel but late night munchies were great!!!
Un friendly, never seen a worker, when we did, we ask an employee in the hallway if there were towels by the pool, he replied " I'm just here for a paycheck" No hospitality training obviously. A hello and welcome goes a long way.
