Stayed here during the Vintage Band Festival. The location is great for that, as most concerts take place just across the river. I was disappointed in several of the lacking amenities: --had to crawl on the floor to plug in the mini fridge. Which seemed to have a leak. --the carpeting near the fridge seemed damp --the HVAC was impossible to regulate. **Avoid this hotel at all costs** Check in was slow, very small reception space had about 10 other people waiting to check in when I got there around 6pm. Person who was working front desk was obviously over it and didn't want to be there. (I now know why) Loud train located right behind hotel that blares its horn at multiple times over night (midnight, 1 am, 2 am, etc.) And I just happened to get the room closest to the train on the second floor which was also right next to the staircase that people were stomping up and dow... read more
I had a wonderful stay of Easter Weekend but a recent reservation I never made it because of a flat tire and they just checked me in for the whole weekend charging for both nights as I was expecting the one-night no show after my phone call that I would not be coming. Very disappointing. Cost compared to room quality is above what one would expect but what isn't today. Sad because it was a great location for my needs and I would have used again.
Not the easiest to get in and out of. But the staff and room are great. They do need a hot tub.
