Booked a room on Valentine's Day to stay for a concert down the street I surprised my boyfriend with tickets for-the distance being why we chose the hotel in the first place. Checked into our room and instantly noticed the awful smell and the shape of the room in general. We were not in the room more than five minutes and I tried to open a window and it completely shattered on me. My wrist was pouring blood- my WRIST, not a single cut or mark on my hands/knuckles-my boyfriend went down to the office to explain what happened.... read more
Service was horrible. The man who was working the front counter was very rude and disrespectful.
Unfortunately this hotel is in a relatively unattractive location. It is not exactly on the river and the space in front is cluttered with small buildings.
Bed was very hard, and seemed broken. The AC had black stuff all in the air vent. The room smelt terrible!! Update is needed for this hotel asap
Rooms are outdated and the Internet runs on dial up speeds. Overpriced!
Very disgusting stayed on 7-3-15 and it smelled through out and was very dirty including bathroom in which I didn't want to shower. The breakfast was pathetic and there was syrup on floors and counter. Bed was uneven and the whole place gave me the willies. Josh the manager does not return phone calls and when I talked to him, he would not do anything about it. This is not the place to stay if you are a human! This Inn is terrible. The staff is sleezy, the front desk is unmanned at night. Side doors to this Inn left open 24/7 allowing anyone to walk into this Inn. Continental breakfast? Where? I never saw one. All I saw and got an upset stomach. Moldy rooms, burns in the carpet and bed spread. Moldy air conditioner and the TV was not working. There was no hair dryer in my room that worked either. Stained mattress pad and I smelled pot while I was there. This place rates as low as it gets. Find another Hotel. My friend was looking for a hotel room in town so I recommended this one since it's one of Monroe's only places to stay. I wasn't with him when he checked in but when he did he was very tired and simply asked for a king nonsmoking room. Even though he didn't request it they went ahead and booked him the Jacuzzi suite which goes for twice the rate of a normal room, around $100 a night.
