I recently visited Country Gourmet Coffee Shop and had an overall decent experience. The layout is interesting—there’s a front area for ordering and browsing items, and then a separate seating space through a doorway. The seating area has a cozy, eclectic feel with a mix of different chairs and tables, along with a small kids’ area in the center, which is a thoughtful touch. They have a great place to sit and read while having your delicious coffee. The staff is friendly and the their almond Joy is my favorite drink.
Whenever I am in Napoleon I try to stop here because they have good coffee and great peanut butter cookies. My most recent visit was disappointing. To begin with, the restroom was not clean. I waited in line behind two women that used a gift card and told the barista to use the remainder of the card to pay for the next customers. The barista did not offer this to me, which was her choice. But when I got to my car I noticed my coffee cup was only 2/3 full and the lid did not fit.
