RecommendedVery filling, it may be deemed as expensive but its well worth it. Its southern good food sure to put you in a food coma after your 1st plate

Generally I recommend the country fisherman. I’ve been eating here with family since i was a child. Saturday, I placed a drive thru order. Food was not fresh, my order was wrong, and the gumbo wasn’t even soup at best. I didn’t get the peach cobbler I paid for, or the rolls that came with the meal. I’m hoping that this was due to the switch of Buffet to drive-thru/take out...but IDK if I want to give it another try.

My daughter attends JSU and she took me there yesterday. It was my first time there and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and the staff were friendly and courteous. The Country Fisherman has a new fan.
First time there. Food was great! Will take my parents there whenever I am back in town
