Thank you! It's good to know there are doctors in the area that are there to help, not just for the money, but because they truly care. Thank you so much Country Doctor, I haven't have my Asthma medications in years because I could never afford to see a doctor.
Delivery by Dr Colin Romero 1981 I had no insurance, was pregnant in 1981 when the Country Dr was on 15th East. I was referrred to the Country Dr by someone my husband worked with. I received good care and Dr Colin Romero delivered my son Brandon at Virginia Mason hospital April of 1981. I had hypertension of pregnancy and a prolonged labor and I can remember Dr Romero telling me weeks after the birth that it was kinda of a high risk delivery that made him a bit nervous but he did a great job.I was so worried being pregnant ... read more
Great Place I was recently laid off from my job b/c the company went out of business so I decided to start volunteering at a local hospital till I found another job. I am also a student at a local college and about to apply for nursing school. It is required that you provide info on immunization shots for volunteering and I did not have my records. Since I don't have health insurance, I was told by my sister that The Country Doctor runs off a sliding scale. I got in about within one week for my appointment, they were very af... read more
Country Doctor: good choice I am fortunate to have excellent health insurance and can pretty much go to any doctor in town... but I chose Country Doctor to be my primary care facility because the care is great, and their mission is great. Nobody is turned away for lack of funds, and so they are an essential institution in our community, and yet are chronically short of funding. If you have health insurance, please consider going here: the clinic desperately needs to serve at least some people who can pay. And as I have disco... read more
Nurith St. Pierre General practioner When it comes to my health I put my full trust in Nurith St. Pierre. There has never been anyone in the medical professon that has helped me as much as her. She is always right on the money when it comes to any discomfort of anykind I might have and the great thing is she doesn't slap a hundred dollar perscription in my hand and tell me to have a nice day. She really takes the time to listen to your concerns. I've been going to her for years. I was not an easy case for her. I had had open... read more
The services are great The staff are the pits I really like my Dr there. I really like the pharmacy. I am frustrated and angered by how rude and unhelpful the receptionist are. They are the front lines and you HAVE to deal with them and it is all ways an endeavor. I was also once told by them that I could no longer have appointments to see my Dr because I missed an apt. (it was snowing)
Country Doctor Rocks!!! I love these people. The wait is no more or less than a regular doctor's office. They give stellar care, regardless of income; no where else does. They offer accupuncture, therapy, birth control, check-ups, referrals, and then some. They are a huge asset to the community, under- appreciated, and definatley deserve kudos!
low fees I'm one of millions of people who aren't fortunate enough to have health care insurance right now. I'm releived to know that the staff at this clinic are very professional and qualified and provide good honest care. Fees are based on a sliding scale according to income - which is fantastic for me!
The help is always there. There were times when the Country doctor was the only place willing to accept me. At the time I had no insurance. They were willing to base my bill on my income. It was helpful at the time. It gives one hope that people do care, especially when you need it. The staff is good, the wait time can be slow though. THey do provide all basic health care needs. I recommend this place if you have low income, near the area and need to be seen by a doctor.
