We went for breakfast. The food was OK -- the hotcakes were very good. I also had a side order of eggs (2 eggs pitifully scrambled for $5) which wasn't the best but whatever. The biggest issue was the service. I am very much the type of person who understands servers are busy with many other customers and not one to gripe about it, but ours (an older lady) was unfriendly, bordering on rude. I’ve been visiting this location for since they closed the one along N Lamar Blvd. Love both locations for their food, and the service is excellent!
place to store purse or coat in bathroom: 1/10. your options are the trashcan or the hand dryer. no hooks or stands. service 2/10. we went around 1030, it was fairly empty when we arrived with only 2-3 other tables. the waiters were all older, which is fine, but it took her about 25 minutes before we got a drink order. was impossible to get her attention for our check or for a box, then she brought it and it took me holding it upright for someone to notice. she looked like she was the only one ringing up tickets, two other o... read more
The eggs had 0 salt or pepper and tasted like water, eggs: over cooked 1 and super undercooked the other, the sauce they gave me I think is old????? Everything else looks ok but for 21 dollars after tax this is criminal !!!!!
