Really nice campus vibe. Came Sunday morning for a breakfast burrito and coffee in the middle of my long run. Live music outside was a real treat. Excellent service by the waitress with heart glasses. Walk inside and notice burger of year award for 2009 - happen to meet current owner. All pleasant people with great food. Looking forward to tryibg that burger next time!
The food was incredibly bland unfortunately yet very overpriced. Chicken biscuit was super small and came with nothing except a small piece of chicken, a small biscuit, and a small side - oh and a dish of hard butter that I couldn't spread onto my biscuits. Very cramped in the restaurant and made us feel a bit rushed, and the service was frankly poor. Favorite brunch spot in Austin! Highly recommend the chilaquiles. Service is always great and friendly.
I’m a regular guest at this counter cafe location. I was very disappointed with the service. Today this morning 10 August 2026, was served by a young lady with blonde hair with a red plaid shirt. She repeatedly kept asking me “am I ready to pay”. I was very disturbed while eating and felt pressured to leave. Like I was being rushed. There was no long line and there were plenty. Joe’s special was really good. The potatoes are amazing. The crab cake was pretty fishy we weren’t a huge fan, and the poached egg had a bit of shell. A little pricey but the potatoes are totally worth it.
