Been going to this office for over 2 years. At first was paying cash for co-pays at every visit before leaving, then that quickly became an issue with discrepancies at return visits saying still owed for previous appts. I quickly learned to only write a check at each visit and not rely on their texted receipts for my records. I’m saddened by the current review statistics for Dr. Williams! He and his office should have 5 stars for their outstanding service! He is an excellent, proficient and knowledgeable professional provider! He has been my Dr. for the last 12yrs. I would Highly Recommend him and his office for any Mental Health needs. He and his staff are caring, while still being professionals. I have seen other Drs in NELA but none of them came close to measuring up to Dr. Williams!
Beware of hidden charges and poor communication at this clinic! I've been blindsided by unexpected bills totaling over $400, all without my knowledge or consent. Despite handing over my insurance card and diligently checking for copays after each appointment, I was never informed of these charges until it was too late. They claimed it was because they don’t take medicaid, but they accepted my medicaid card and didnt tell me otherwise that it wasn’t covering the fees. I was told it was just for prescriptions. Didn't even make an appt due to the receptionist hanging up on me after asking questions. Thankful we dodged a bullet. Also, $40 for this, $40 for that, $40 for paper to fill out. Yikes! $120 first visit plus whatever insurance doesn't cover.. she said those $40 was copay for EACH THING. Doesn't make a lick of sense. And as I'm seeing from the comments... MONEY HUNGRY
I am appalled by this office. I took my son to see Dr. Williams in October of 2023. I got a bill in February. I have called the office multiple times and left messages. I have never had a return phone call. Today, I received a second bill that said if I did not pay $30 the account would be turned over to collections at a 35% charge. I called and kept calling until I got someone one the phone.
