CCoEA is home to highly skilled therapists who provide expert support for your mental well-being. I attended this institution throughout the seventh to eleventh grades of my education. Art therapy provides patients with an exceptional means of expressing themselves. Because I have ADHD, I was able to concentrate my mind on both art AND therapy. Play therapy provided me with a more effective means of articulating my thoughts and emotions.
They neglected to call me to confirm the appointment and charged me a $50 fee. I have absolutely no missed calls from them. They said their courtesy calls anyway and I'm lucky if I get them which came across is very sarcastic and unprofessional. I pay out of pocket, insurance is not covering the sessions. If you are paying out-of-pocket take this into consideration!
I’ve wanted to write this review for a long time after seeing firsthand the difference counseling made in my son’s life. We were fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Miss Kassandra T., and I can honestly say she was a blessing to our entire family. Her kindness, patience, and gentle approach created a safe space where my son could grow, heal, and learn skills that have stayed with him into adulthood. My experience with this therapist was extremely disappointing and concerning. I raised repeated concerns regarding possible abuse and sexualized behaviors involving my child, but I was told she was not a specialist in that area. Despite this, I felt my concerns were minimized instead of being referred to a therapist who specialized in trauma or child sexual abuse evaluations.
