I hesitated to leave a review because my intention isn't to bash this place. I have been able to receive some decent support here in the past. I must point out a few observations however. It seems strange to me that counselors are oblivious to detecting neurodivergence or they simply don't care to. I've had to look for services elsewhere related to this. Side note, the office really, really needs some diversity to serve their students. There is none!
The woman was so rude . Students get zero help so don't call there .
People who schedule or answer questions about costs/arrangements/platform are extremely rude and condescending. Not sure if this attitude is towards everyone or only towards the international students. Anyhow, be wary of interacting with these people as they may worsen your mental health issues.
Receiptionist was very nice however I would not recommend CAPS as a psychological service. There seems to be no counselors or therapists working there. Only salespeople weirdly. They are very good at following a script. I would highly recommend this service for people looking to either improve a service or review what went wrong.
Be aware IUB CAPS has had many 1 star reviews deleted by google. IUB CAPS and Dr. Kipley J. Meyers are dangerous! They will lie to and harm you if you aren’t careful. Take care! DEMAND CHANGE!!!!!
