I believe the Council on Aging Life Enrichment Program is a valuable asset to our community. It brings opportunities to seniors to make new friends; to take part in activities if they wish to; and to be in a social environment with our peers. As the Community Liaison Director for Woodland Manor Nursing and Rehab in Elkhart, Indiana, I am very excited to visit Tolson Center every Thursday at 10:00 AM to lead a group in Cardio Drumming! It is the highlight of my week. Additionally, I have the honor of speaking on a topic and providing lunch for the group at First Presbyterian Church once a month! The Life Enrichment Programs are very important to our senior community and I am blessed to play a small part of these two great programs!

I love Council on Aging and all that they do. I am so excited about the Life enrichment program and the people that attend on a weekly basis. Sharing, learning, eating, and crafting together is a way to make friends and fill your day. This program is full of great stuff for you to plug in and be involved in. The weekly Bible study is growing and everyone is always made to feel welcome and join in the discussions. Plan on joining in and make some friends.
