He’s always sits down to listen to me as a patient. I went to him as a train wreck and he actually took care of me and helped me at my worst in health. He acknowledged that he wasn’t informed for cholesterol management and referred me to a great cardiologist. He actually gave me my flu shot and took my vitals.
Dr. John Cottrell is a fine doctor. He always finds time to listen to any medical issues that I may be experiencing. And, is good to provide a course of action. Best of all, he makes sure there is a follow-up to see if the problem has been solved to my liking. He is one of a kind and I highly recommend him to anyone in search of a caring physician.
His office staff is abysmal. They won't answer your call unless you say you're calling for an appointment. Otherwise, good luck ever getting anyone to return your call. The doctor himself doesn't bother calling you to explain lab results. His office sends you the link to the results - you figure it out! Yesterday, I had an appalling experience with Dr. Cottrell. Dr. John is incredibly caring physician who puts his patients first, always, and always takes the time to talk to you and treat you as if you’re his own family member. Hands down he is the best doctor I’ve ever seen and I recommend him to anyone and everyone
Very relaxed and personable. Thorough and really listens to the my history, and health concerns. He advocates healthy habits, eating well, exercising, and healthy living.
Dr. Cottrell was very personable, and he took the time to get to know me at my first appointment.
Nice Physician, friendly demeanor. However, was denied routine immunizations in office and wrote a referral that would have to be paid out-of-pocket, when questioned I received vague answers from staff - Receptionist and Physician Assistant (I was not transferred to speak to Dr. Cottrell himself). Denied routine care due to lack of reimbursement from my insurance company. Staff could be more professional and courteous over the phone. Excellence and holistic care lacking greatly.
