In thought this might be sketch but i was not prepared. I was attacked a rottweiler the owner let off the leash, held my feet up hoping he would not pull me off my bike and made it past him. Then I got to the homeless people camped on the trail, the large group of guys smoking pot on the trail, drug out people walking aimlessly down the trail. Lots of trash, graffiti, ash pits from fires. I saw no other bikers or runners. This was on a week day at 11 AM. 95% of the trail is fine but the 5% around Forest Lane is not worth the... read more

EXTREMELY high risk and scary. As a young female, I wish I saw these reviews before going to bike on this trail with my friend. We were lurched and jumped at, catcalled, and chased on our bikes. Will not be returning and do not recommend.

Extremely dangerous; had someone follow me on my bike for quite a while. Open drug usage and random fires by the DART station. I think we need people to be aware they should avoid at all costs unless there are some significant changes to the crime on the trail.
