I broke down on the interstate outside of LaGrange, on my way from Alabama to Virginia last winter, and called Cotton’s. It was a Friday and I expected to be there for a day or two until they could get my truck repaired, but they told me they would try to get me back on the road that day if they could. The sorriest customer service I have ever dealt with in 52 years call get a price on get trans worked on put a smart mouth young guy on the phone quoted me 2500 dollars when a new one is less than 2000 I would not do business this company at all very unprofessional
8 years of hit and miss work on a '74 Ford Bronco here. Still doesn't work and it's always some excuse from their end.
These people are a joke,took them 1 year and 4 times to get a functioning transmission not to mention they dropped the transfer case and bent the output shaft ,another $2300 .put around 1000 miles on it and it puked all the fluid out.they broke off a bolt in the rear servo cover and it blew the seal because it only had 3 of the 4 bolts in it.i talked to Jeff and asked was there anyway the transmission could build enough pressure to break a bolt off .His response was no.So I said that someone must have snapped the bolt during... read more
I do not recommend this place to anyone. They held my son’s truck for a month and never test drove it. He had to call them weekly to check the status and then the would tell him they would call him back but never did. They moved the truck to the back of their lot which tells me they had no intention of working on it. Definitely not a professional shop.
