Nice little community The Cottage on Elm is a nice little affordable apartment complex. The apartments are perfect for singles or young couples. The staff is professional and will handle any repairs in a timely manner.
The people running this circus are a joke. Upon moving in, the only thing that had been done was wall patching/paint. The carpets were absolutely disgusting with stuck on food, stains, sequins, chocolate, as well as what appears to be bodily fluids. The window sills are caked with algae, spiders, & webs. The best part is a back bedroom window that doesn’t even lock which is awesome. they will cheat on your deposit and also charge you extra. make you terminate your lease the month before. very noisy and dangerous some nights with gun shots.
RecommendedLived here as a grad student at FSU almost 20 yrs ago. It nurtured me and three different roomies. The mgmt was friendly. Never had any problems.

I use to love living here but I'm in my third year here and the management team has treated me horrible. I call them with a issue with my ceiling they look at me like I'm stupid I call about an issue with with our neighbors letting there dog poop all over the back yard unleashed and attacking leashed animals they ask me what I want them to do. I really love living here at the cottages. This is a really nice neighorhood and it is very quite. I aslo love the office staff , especially Megan & KrisAnn !!
Shout out to the staff love them their are not words to say how much I appreciate them. The best ever.
We moved here in August and have had nothing but positive experiences. I love that the office staff Is friendly. Any maintenance issues have been addressed the same day. Would most def recommend this place to anyone looking for a safe and affordable place to live.
