By far the worst place I’ve lived at. The heat does not work in the winter so you will be freezing and to the point where you will get sick!! Overcharge utilities. Weird noises when water is turned on throughout the house. The list goes on.
We resigned this year at a ridiculous rate because it was easier than moving. Now they have dropped the rate 200 dollars for new residents instead of helping the people that stayed and resigned. Also non working street lamps the gates have never worked and they have no respect for current residents just want our money.
Gate which is touted as one of their security measures is never closed. My son’s apartment was robbed by someone who drove in and walked into several houses during the day. They bill for damages early if you don’t renew, ask for a forwarding address for any deposit refund and then bill again and claim it was never a deposit but an administrative fee. I would not recommend living here to anyone. I was excited to live at the Cottages because it seemed like a quiet, safe community, and I really liked the house size/layout rather than an apartment style building. I have lived here for the past year and I cannot wait for this lease to be up in a couple weeks and to move anywhere else.
