RUN DON’T WALK!! This is by far the worst apartment complex I’ve ever lived in. The units are tiny, the plumbing and A/C are constantly having issues, and maintenance is always saying they “can’t touch” or fix something. Management is rarely around, parking is a nightmare, and the rules don’t seem to apply to everyone equally. The only real amenity is a basic pool, which doesn’t make up for the endless problems. Save yourself the stress and look somewhere else.
My POV: The Cottages are a perfect place for someone who is going through a transition of downsizing and looking for their forever home. The grounds are very well maintained, the amenities are top notch, and the professional staff is very responsive, friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a short or long term lease!!
My experience throughout the entire leasing application process has been amazing. Makenna provided great customer service from start to finish—she was helpful, patient, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. My tour with her was fantastic and really helped me feel confident in my decision. I’m truly happy to call Cottage at Sugar Mill Pond home!
