Truly disappointing experience as a patient. Cottage has a lot of brand recognition for quality care in other domains. Urgent care is not one. I have brought family members on multiple occasions and when they are not turning patients away upfront, they direct anyone with any chest symptoms whatsoever to the ER. Why? No MDs and no EKG. So why should anyone go to this place with their "urgent" needs.? Sutter down the street has 1) an MD on the floor and 2) will see you if you are in the door before their closing time. Cottage Hospital Urgent Care saved me, went in with a really bad cold found out it was pneumonia and everyone in office was so kind and caring with me. Immediately got me on antibiotics and excused me from work, 2 days later and I feel better already. Thank you doctor Maricela Hurtado Salinas NP, your heart is in your work and it shows.
