I was admitted Dec. 3rd with a cebelellar stroke. I was transferred from Marian hospital in Santa Maria after receiving a TPA. Cottage did a CAT and determined the clot dissolved. The next six days I received MRI and two more CATS. The staff were exceptional from Dr 's, nurses, to support personnel. I received excellent care and hope not to return but if I do I am very confident I will receive excellent care. Thank all the staff that provided my care.
My recent visit to the Cottage emergency room was extremely disappointing. A patient in visible pain was on the ground, and the check-in nurse yelled at him to get up until someone intervened. Meanwhile, my wife, experiencing an allergic reaction, waited over an hour without care and eventually left to handle it herself. Adding to the stress, security guards knocked on car windows within minutes of parking, despite posted drop-off allowances; While leaving alone unattended vehicles in these spaces.
