Had already been seen by another dentist who said root canal was needed so we called Dr. Gist office to see if he did root canals because our dentist did not. "We will look at it and if it is not too bad we will do it," said Matthew. He is Robert's brother come to find out. I went in to see Dr. Gist with a cracked tooth. (no pain) Dr. Gist proposed that I come back for a crown. During our conversation he did mention that I might need a Root Canal eventually on the same tooth as it is sometimes hard to tell in an x-ray. At that time, I expressed to him that if he thinks I would need a root canal in the next few years I would rather do that first and then the crown. He assured me the crown was the way to go.
