COTS has encouraged me to get my employer involved in the community. I try to get corporate to see what a difference they can make.
I am a big fan of COTS. I'm a volunteer and a donor, was once a staff member. I have seen COTS reach out more widely and serve more people in need of housing over its 3 decades, from setting up cots, literally, overnight in the Sara Holbrook Center, to providing emergency shelter to families and individuals plus transitional and permanent housing today. COTS fills a vital need in our community. Applause and kudos to all involved in this organization!
The people at COTS care about their mission and live it every day. They focus not only on shelter but prevention, especially for families! As someone who has received COTS assistance lately, it isn't the fall that is bad, it's the landing. COTS is there to soften that landing and, hopefully, even prevent the fall!
I have been involved with COTS in one way or another for over 20 years. From the Board to just walking the walk with my kids, COTS' mission is everywhere, in everything they do. I wish we could quantify the good that they do! Keep up the good work! And thank you, COTS, from everyone you have served!
